Hezbollah leader Nasrallah and top commanders killed in ‘precision strike’, claims Israeli military.

Must Read

Further details have emerged from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) regarding their statement on the killing of Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah. The IDF confirms that in addition to Nasrallah, several high-ranking officials within the Iran-backed militant group were also killed in the operation, including the commander overseeing Hezbollah’s southern front.

According to the IDF, the strike was carried out by Israeli fighter jets, which targeted Hezbollah’s central command headquarters. The facility was described as being located “underground and embedded beneath a residential building” in the heavily fortified Dahieh suburb of southern Beirut, a known stronghold for the group.

The statement further explained that the targeted strike was executed while Hezbollah’s “senior leadership chain of command” was actively operating from within the Dahieh area. The IDF claims the operation was carefully planned to neutralize key figures of the organization.

As of now, Hezbollah has not issued any official response to these claims. It’s worth noting that Dahieh has long been a strategic hub for Hezbollah’s leadership and military operations, making it a significant target in Israel’s ongoing campaign against the group.
